Esophagitis is an inflammation or swelling of the esophagus and can cause damage to the tissues in the esophagus tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach.
Common Symptoms
- Heartburn
- Nausea – Vomiting
- Painful and difficulty swallowing
- Abdominal pain
- Oral lesions
- Food gets caught in the esophagus
